 Financially Confident Women

Meet Vivian

I’m Vivian Cobb, and 12 years ago, my dream life suddenly became a nightmare when I lost my husband to colon cancer.

To add to my shock, grief, and pain, while he lay dying in the hospital, I went to the bank only to discover we were in a financial crisis, and I had no idea.

What a wake-up call. As I confronted the reality of my situation, I realized that I had allowed myself to believe the misconception that men were supposed to handle money and that I was somehow incapable. Even though I felt the need to have challenging financial conversations with my husband, it intimidated me to think about it and subsequently stopped me from trying.

The consequences I endured taught me the need for women to advocate for and not abdicate their financial well-being and futures.

Through this transformative journey of rebuilding my life and becoming financially confident, I can now help women own their value by healing their pasts around money, communicating their value so they can ask and receive what they want, and growing and managing their wealth by asking the right questions and finding the right people to help them.

Storyteller

She is a compelling storyteller and presenter who began her career in video and film production before moving on to the real estate industry. She frequently presents for organizations such as Toastmasters International (earning her Distinguished Toastmaster) and Rotary. She also served as a speaker coach for TEDxColoradoSprings and TEDxManitouSprings.
