Meet
Vivian Cobb

Hi, I'm Vivian

Over fourteen years ago, my life changed in a way I could never have imagined. My husband was dying of colon cancer, and in the middle of my grief, I was blindsided by something almost as devastating; we were in a severe financial crisis.

Standing in a bank while my world was already falling apart, I learned just how dangerous financial silence can be. I had trusted that everything was “handled.” I didn’t ask questions. I didn’t push for conversations. I believed the cultural story that said, “He takes care of money. I don’t have to.”

That moment changed everything.

As I rebuilt my life, I realized something obvious: money conversations aren’t about numbers. They’re about honesty, trust, safety, and partnership. They are about love. And when couples avoid talking about money, they aren’t avoiding spreadsheets, they’re avoiding vulnerability, power dynamics, fear, shame, and deeply held beliefs.

And the cost of staying silent is enormous.

Today, I dedicate my work to helping couples do what my husband and I couldn’t: talk openly about money before life forces the issue. I help partners replace avoidance with understanding, hidden fears with shared reality, and secrecy with connection.

Whether I am speaking on a stage, leading workshops, or guiding couples through structured conversations, my mission is simple: To help couples have the money conversations that save relationships.

My approach blends practical guidance with emotional truth. I help couples uncover what money means to each partner, talk about it without blame or fear, and build a financial life built on transparency, respect, and shared responsibility. Because when you can talk about money, you can talk about anything — and your relationship becomes stronger, safer, and more resilient.

If you are ready to stop hoping things will work themselves out and start having the conversations that build a secure future together, I’m here to help.

Storyteller

I tell my stories; the hard ones, the honest ones, and the life-changing ones, because stories connect us. By sharing my own experiences openly and honestly, I invite others to feel, reflect, and connect with their own truth. My talks are meant to be experienced, not just heard, creating moments that stay with people long after the conversation ends.
